About Michelle Rose
A little about me, what I do and my passion and purpose for serving you.
I’m a yoga teacher of 11 years, reformer pilates instructor, author, and breathwork facilitator. I am devoted to helping people come into their bodies, release stress and anxiety, overcome traumas, ease their busy mind, and let go of rubbish self-beliefs that are blocking them from moving through life with ease and grace using movement and breathwork.
Having struggled with undiagnosed ADHD for decades, yoga allowed me to utilise constant movement and breath to free my body and mind. Today, I’m fully devoted to helping others alleviate themselves of the trapped energy that is holding them back too. As passionate and hardworking as I am, I’m also full of joy, which flows through everything I do. I am steadfast on ensuring that all interactions with me, whether we connect in a movement practice or through breath therapy, will be uplifting. Even if your breathwork session makes you cry a little (or a lot), our time together will leave you feeling lighter, more positive and sure of yourself.
My mission is to help people heal their self-relationship, so they become a safe space within themselves, and as the saying goes: ‘If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do no harm’.

Our Services
BREATHWORK
Breathwork focuses on intentional breathing techniques to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By consciously altering your breathing pattern, you can regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and increase mindfulness. Breathwork often involves deep, rhythmic breaths, emphasising the inhale and exhale while paying attention to the sensations and thoughts that arise.
Through her breathwork sessions, Michelle aims to achieve personally catered outcomes, including relaxation, energy enhancement, and emotional release.
YOGA
Michelle has taught well over 10,000 yoga classes over the past 11 years in Sydney, interstate and overseas. Her styles range from Power Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and her favourite, ‘Drills’, meaning, advanced yoga conditioning.
Michelle’s style of yoga is playful and strong and commands your attention. You’ll feel challenged and inspired to move out of your comfort zone to see how much you can grow, which is often well beyond what you thought was possible for you.

TESTIMONIALS
Feedback from our practitioners
In the days since my breathwork session with Michelle, I’ve incorporated the breath technique into my meditation practice and have definitely noticed my anxiety about a situation I’m in drop several notches. I feel like I’m able to view it with more of a detached curiosity, rather than letting it reel me in and wind me up. And I’ve been sleeping SO much better!

I felt so liberated after the breathwork event. It cleared my procrastination and moved me straight into action. Helpful!! I was amazed at how simply breathing in that specific way with your guidance throughout, I overcame the fear of taking a risk and the restriction of wanting certainty before I step forward and now I am finally buying my own home after years of stalling.

I loved the live breathwork event but now have tried a private online session also. I went noticeably deeper in my own home.
Just 20 minutes into the session I was crying out deep suppressed pain I’d carried from my school days. I knew as an adult I stopped myself from being in the spotlight which stripped me of giving things my all as I’d back down before I rose as high as I was capable and I wasn’t sure where that came from but in the breathwork session the memory came that I started that pattern in school when I was just 12 years old, when I closed myself due to fear of being bullied for wearing glasses. After crying it out, I coughed loads, then laughed hysterically which felt amazing! How funny it was to have kept that crazy fear inside me for decades over something so trivial. Free now. And feeling lighter, happier and grounded.

I thought the breathwork was life changing. I felt so much clearer and more confident in what I want and need to be happy. I was able to communicate what I truly need after years of struggling to do so. I let go of an abusive relationship from a few years ago and promised my future children that they would not go through something similar. I realised the feeling of not being able to freely speak my truth and of being underestimated or judged was passed down from my grandparents and their experience during the Holocaust. I promised myself I would share their stories with the world since they weren’t able to.
I am definitely keen to do more sessions in the future. I’ve told so many people about the breathwork and they all want to give it a go.

The breathwork helped me to release a lot of anger and resentment that was weighing me down. I have gone through a lot recently with my mum falling into deep depression and triggering my childhood pain. I screamed as hard as I could into that pillow. I cried a bit too.
I could feel tingles in my legs and thighs and my hands felt very heavy, so I knew energy was shifting. I remember thinking how amazed I was that I was able to quieten my mind and get into the zone so quickly.
At the end, I was able to tap into a state of bliss and your breath angel, Oscar, even said he noticed me smiling a lot.
Afterwards I was so tired but relaxed and calm. I still felt the heaviness was shifting off me in the days after.
Thanks for a beautiful profound experience. I loved the collective energy and intention in the room.
